We adopt a deeply consultative approach to wedding and event floristry. This means that although we’re taking care of the coordination, every choice is guided by your nuanced dreams. We perfect the details of your special day in advance so you can focus on soaking up every exquisite memory when the day arrives.

TANYA BENSLEY
The name itself is a contemporary take on de ma vie, meaning "of my life" in French. They say the day you marry the love of your life is the best day of your life, and at Demavi, we draw inspiration from each couple's unique style to create a wedding that is unparalleled in both aesthetic and feeling.
Demavi is a Queensland-based floral, styling and textile artistry studio working across the Gold Coast, Northern New South Wales, with an Australian-wide reach. Founder Tanya Bensley is a true artist whose practice spans bespoke floristry, styling and textile artistry – a discipline she has taken into sculptural, deeply atmospheric territory through draping, fabric and considered layering.
"Demavi grew from a deep love of how a space can make you feel. With a background in interior design, corporate events and wedding planning, I was always drawn to the atmosphere of a room – the way light, texture and considered detail could transform it entirely.
That fascination led me into floral artistry, styling and textile work, where I found the freedom to push boundaries and create something singular for each client."
Demavi offers floral design, styling and textile artistry for weddings. Based in South East Queensland, our service area is Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Northern NSW. The Demavi team is open to travelling to any other location outside this service area.
At Demavi, we believe every couple and every celebration is beautifully unique. Rather than offering fixed wedding packages, we create a bespoke proposal tailored specifically to your vision, venue, and the investment you've allocated for florals, styling, and textile elements.
When you complete our enquiry form, we'll ask a series of thoughtful questions to help us understand your wedding plans, style, and priorities. Using this information, Tanya will prepare a personalised Style Guide, featuring carefully curated floral and styling concepts designed to complement your day. Each element is individually priced, allowing you to mix, match, and refine your selections with complete flexibility.
Your initial Style Guide, along with one revised version, is provided complimentary and with no obligation. This gives you the opportunity to explore ideas and ensure Demavi is the perfect fit for your wedding before making a commitment.
Once you're ready to proceed, we'll guide you through our booking process and continue working closely with you from the time of booking through to the month before your wedding, refining every detail to ensure your floral and styling concept is beautifully brought to life.
Yes. Our minimum investment is $5,000.
This investment can include any combination of our floral designs, styling elements, textile hire, installations, and on-the-day services.
By taking on a limited number of weddings each year, we are able to offer every couple a highly personalised experience. This allows Tanya and the Demavi team to dedicate the time, creativity, and attention to detail needed to thoughtfully design, plan, and execute each wedding to the highest standard.
Our approach is centred on creating bespoke celebrations, ensuring every design is carefully considered and tailored exclusively to your vision.
Absolutely. Collaboration is at the heart of our design process, and your input is invaluable every step of the way.
Before booking, you'll receive your initial personalised Style Guide along with one complimentary revision, giving you the opportunity to refine the design and ensure it reflects your vision. Once you've secured your booking, Tanya and the Demavi team will continue working closely with you, making any adjustments needed as your plans evolve.
We understand that wedding planning is a journey, and it's completely natural for ideas and inspiration to change over time. Whether you're refining your colour palette, updating your guest numbers, or adding new styling elements, we'll ensure your floral and styling concept grows with you.
Approximately two months before your wedding, we'll finalise your design concept and confirm all floral, styling, and textile selections. Your final invoice is due 30 days before your wedding, and from this point onward, your design will be considered complete so our team can begin sourcing materials, preparing florals, and bringing every detail together for your day.
